It is fundamental to have effective protection to all lawyers so that they can continue with their legitimate and peaceful activities in defence of Human Rights without fear of intimidation, harassment, retaliation, the loss of their own life and using all legal means within their reach to end with this scourge permanently, fulfilling its commitments with the Conventions of Human Rights that call for the respect and protection of the right to life.

It is not possible to uphold the rule of law when law professionals are being threatened. Threats, repressions and even worse, the murders of colleagues in the exercise of their profession must be investigated and prosecuted with priority by the State itself, in defence of the democratic system that it intends to maintain.

In support of any manifestation of the law that is carried out in any country, where any act of protection of the work carried out by professionals in laws is supported.
