New year, new member cards of the ICB.

Since the election of the new President Blas J. Imbroda in Valencia, the BPI has worked hard to consolidate and occupy space that we must never lose. The work, effort and struggle of the legal profession in the world for International Criminal Justice, the defense and the values and principles on which it is based form the fight to achieve the respect for human rights.

For those who are part of this project, International Criminal Justice is an indispensable tool in today's world to maintain peace in the world, to ensure the respect for human rights, so that the most execrable crimes against the international community do not go unpunished and for the protection of the victims of such terrible international crimes.

For this, we disseminate the values of International Criminal Justice, we support the profession of lawyers acting before the International Criminal Tribunals, we support the right of defense and the protection of the victims, we denounce the international crimes and rights violations which unfortunately continue to be committed. We seek the cooperation of all States in international criminal tribunals, and we encourage and train lawyers in this field.

Thus, this year, we are happy to release this new card, symbol of our struggle that continues unabated, because "it is never too late to look for a better and newer world, if in the effort we have courage and hope" and because justice has no borders.
